		<description>There are rules and then there are RULES. IMO there are too many RULES (i.e., civil/criminal laws) many that contradict each other, which basically serves the purpose of making ordinary citizens criminals due to ignorance which we all know is no excuse. 

Since congress and state legislatures &#38; officials have been codifying RULES we have such a plethora of proscriptions that it is impossible to be cognizant of all but a miniscule fraction.

My RULE of thumb is to obey no rule/law with which I disagree and to transgress no rule/law with which I agree with the exception of when the metaphorical gun is pointed at my head (i.e., being overseen at the time by some authority.) I maintain that the only just laws are subsets of the following 2 rules: 

1.) No one may physically harm another.
2.) No one may deprive persons of their legitimate possessions.</description>
